We also have a few new small groups that will start up for anyone who would like to get into a group for the first time. Summer in the Son (SITS) is not just a conference, and it's way more than camp. For three decades, Summer in the Son has been a catalyst in the lives of tens of thousands of students. Some come for the powerful experiential worship environment, others for the in-your-face teaching from some of the best in the country. Mix in the tremendous youth group building experiences and some of the best Christian artists, musicians and comedians around...and it's a pretty special week for you and your peers. This summer, come see what all the fuss is about. It's a great opportunity to create life-long friendships that are founded in Jesus.
CIY Move is more than a conference, more than a week of camp. Move, hands down, will be one of the most powerful and moving weeks of your life. We will spend a week diving into the theme of Contrast. This is where we will discover what it means to be a kingdom worker, how to be different and how to make a difference. There's a stark contrast between a life that's lived for the King and one that's lived for anyone or anything else. What are those differences? How should our lives be distinct? That's what this is all about. And the best part, we'll discover this together with our high school student ministry.
This program started last summer as a way for us as a church to reach out in love to children and families in our community. Throughout the summer months, we meet a need by sending bags of food home on a weekly basis with children at local elementary schools who otherwise would have no access to food while school is not in session.
To make this successful for the second year in a row, we need your help. You can get involved by donating non-perishable food items, donating money, volunteering to shop, packing food and also delivering food.
Current Summer Schedule (subject to change)
- Shop for food on Wednesday mornings
- Pack food on Wednesday afternoons
- Deliver to Mountain View Apartments on Wednesday evenings
- Follow the Sullivan County and Bristol City lunch programs

Our goal is to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 50 families in need in our community. In partnership with Food City, we can feed each family for $40. Will you Give2Give this Thanksgiving?
Four Ways to Give2Give
- Make a donation to the church specifically for a family in need. We encourage you to join with your family and friends to help cover the costs of the meal(s).
- Make a side dish and/or dessert to be delivered to families along with the meal.
- Donate non-perishable food items and paper products that can be given to families in addition to the meal.
- Sign up to help pack and deliver the meals on Tuesday, November 21. This is a great opportunity to develop relationships with families in our community.
